Jerald Rocco

Jerald is a 1980 graduate of A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer. The son of Joe and Mary Rocco, Ramsay, attended the University of Michigan and Wayne State University, completing his mortuary science studies at Wayne in 1983.
He worked at the Hill Funeral Home in Grand Blanc, Mich., for more than 20 years, assisting while at school and as a licensed funeral director, the vice-president and general manager.
Jerald purchased the Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield on Feb. 25, 2004.
His professional memberships include the National Funeral Directors Association, the Michigan Funeral Directors Association and the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association.
Jerald is involved in many area organizations, including the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Wakefield, the Wakefield Chamber of Commerce, the Bessemer Lions Club, the former Bessemer Township Professional Men's Club and the Klassic Kruisers Car Club.
