WAUSAU, Wis. - William J. Sikonia, 62, a former resident of Erwin Township, Mich., passed away Thursday evening, June 20, 2019, under the hospice care of the Mount View Care Center in Wausau with family and friends at his side.

The family is honoring Bill's life with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood, with the Rev. Binu Joseph, celebrant. The honorary pallbearers will be from Bill's family and friends.

Rite of Committal and interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood. Military rites will be accorded at the cemetery under auspices of the Ironwood American Legion Post 5 Honor Guard, assisted by the U.P. Funeral Honors Team.

Expressions of affection in a charitable contribution in Bill's memory are suggested in lieu of flowers to the American Legion Post 10, 1001 Golf Club Rd., Wausau, WI 54403.
