William M. 'Bill' Barron's Obituary
IRONWOOD, Mich. – William M. "Bill" Barron, 77, of Bessemer, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, in Ironwood.
Bill was born on Jan. 4, 1935, in Ramsay, the son of William and Lauretta (Harris) Barron. He attended Ramsay School and graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer.
Bill proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by Indianhead Mountain Ski Resort for more than 30 years.
Survivors include his loving wife, Fritzi, whom he married on May 5, 1987; two daughters, Janet (Angelo) Aimone and Beverly (Efren) Davis; two stepchildren, Lisa (Scott) Brown and Rick Dembowski; eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha, Sarah and Angela Aimone, Kiko and Morgan Davis, Kaitlyn Tollstam and Tyler Brown; a great-granddaughter, Isabella Aimone; a sister, Hazel McGill; a brother, Neil Barron; an aunt, Mildred Miller; and his faithful dog, Kodi.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Lorraine and Norma Barron and Violet Sloma.
Per Bill's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., Wakefield, is assisting the family.
