WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Veronica Lynn "Roni" Harvey, (nee Shea), 62, of Wakefield, passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021.

Veronica was born on Oct. 1, 1958, in Elgin, Illinois, a daughter of Harold Wayne and Marilyn Kay (Vasey) Shea.

She worked as an office supply buyer at Kemper Insurance, then at Randall Bakery and concluded her working career as an office manager at Trueflight Manufacturing Company.

Roni enjoyed traveling, fishing, picking rocks, knitting, reading, cooking, gardening and oil and diamond painting. She loved her family unconditionally, especially her precious grandchildren.

Roni is survived by her husband, Steven Mark Harvey; two sons, Andrew (Angel) Harvey, and their children, Nightealeeya, Kaelyn and Everly, and Jeremy (Melissa) Pletz, and their son, Christopher; her father, Harold Shea; a sister, Cheryl (Tom) Watson; two brothers, Dan Shea and Patrick (Barb) Shea; her mother-in-law, Ruth Harvey; her sister-in-law, Ginny (Ray) Morby; and Steve's sister-in-law, Carole Harvey.

She was predeceased by her mother, Marilyn Shea, on Dec. 17, 2019; and two brothers-in-law, Paul Harvey and Alan Harvey.

Out of respect for her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
