IRONWOOD, Mich. - Todd A. Goman, 65, passed into Eternity on the morning of Aug. 27, 2026. Todd was born in Duluth, Minnesota, to Dale and Roberta Goman. As a youngster, Todd became an avid fisherman, played hockey and developed into quite a horseman. In 1974, the family moved into a Christian community in Federal Dam, Minnesota. In 1978, the family moved to Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, Todd graduated high school from Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights in 1979. He lived between Minnesota and Idaho most of his life. He recently moved his business to Ironwood to be closer to family.

   Todd worked in construction for over 40 years. In the construction world, he was known for his skill in building elite log homes and cabins. He mastered a variety of woodworking skills and used them throughout his construction career. He started his ballet training at the Andahazy Ballet School in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, then moved to Milwaukee Ballet Company for four years. Then, he moved out to Idaho to work for the American Festival Ballet and worked with them for six years.Todd was also a Level 2 Shooting Sports Instructor. He worked closely with the 4H in multiple counties in the Boise, Idaho area teaching children the skills and discipline of archery.

   Todd is survived by his parents, Dale and Roberta; and four siblings, Tim, Kay, Anne (Greg) and Brenda (Matt). He is also survived by his five children, James, Kalayna, Gretta, Lydia and Morgan; along with 15 nieces and nephews and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. He was known by his family for his hardworking mentality and sturdy personality. He loved music and shared it with his siblings throughout growing up. He survived multiple near-death experiences and said “God must not be done with me yet” after every time. He was always one to come up with a joke and get along with just about everyone. He was passionate and loved his family very much.

   Cremation has taken place via Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc. 806 Putnam Street, Wakefield, Michigan. There will be no service. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 11 a.m. at Range Community Bible Church, 610 S. Highway 51, Hurley, Wisconsin.
