IRONWOOD, Mich. – Thomas Gene Speck Sr., 74, of Ironwood, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood.

Tom was born on Jan. 17, 1951, in Greeley, Colorado, a son of J.F. and Peggy Ann (Davis) Speck. He attended Mercer (Wisconsin) grade school and Parker High School in Janesville, Wisconsin.

He worked at Simpson Electric and Molding Company in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin, and his hobbies included woodworking.

Tom is survived by his son, Thomas Jr., Ironwood; two brothers, the Rev. Roy, Marenisco, and Gary (Dawn), Gile, Wisconsin; and numerous dear nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place.

The family is honoring Tom's life in a private service.
