WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Teresa Joy Foster, 47, of Wakefield, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at her home.
She was born on April 11, 1965, in Wakefield, the daughter of George Irvin and Marilyn Sue (Sordahl) Foster. Teresa graduated from Wakefield High School in 1984.
She enjoyed camping and fishing. Teresa especially loved spending time with her family.
She was a certified nurse's aide.
Teresa is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Brandon DaPra) Sawaski, Wakefield; a sister, Karen (Art) Norden, Wakefield; four brothers, Terry Sordahl, Milwaukee, Irvin Foster, Tygh Valley, Ore., Tim (Tricia) Foster, Genoa, Wis., and Shawn (Amy) Foster, Cincinnati, Ohio; and many other loving relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Billy Sordahl, Robert Foster, James Foster and Raymond Foster.
Funeral services and interment will be held Tuesday, May 22, at 11 a.m., at Lakeside Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Jacobson, pastor of All Saints Lutheran Church in Wakefield, will officiate.
Following the service, a lunch will be served in the fellowship hall at All Saints Lutheran Church.
