Susan M.
Eilo
February 13, 1948 – June 4, 2025
KIMBALL, Wis. - Susan M. Eilo, 77, of Kimball, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at her home.
Susan was born on Feb. 13, 1948, in Ironwood, Michigan, to the late Josephine and Edward Armata. She attended Luther L. Wright High School and graduated in 1966. Susan continued her education at Gogebic Community Junior College.
In September 1974, she married Wendell Eilo. Together they raised three wonderful children.
Susan held several jobs throughout her life, including working at Simpson Electric, waitressing, housekeeping at Days Inn and finally retiring from Walmart in 2013. However being a homemaker, mother, grandmother and dog mom were the most rewarding.
Susan found great joy in feeding the birds daily and being entertained watching her chipmunk, Munkey. She welcomed any other wildlife that ventured into the yard to share the food out of her bird feeders.
Additionally, Susan was an avid sports fan always cheering on the Green Bay Packers and watching her favorite NASCAR driver, Jimmie Johnson # 48. She would always catch the Brewers games on her favorite radio station, WJMS.
Susan is survived by her three children, Holly (Kyle) Ramme, Jason (Trisha) Eilo and Stacy (Gus) Eilo; eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Crista, Ashlee, Emily, Sabrina, Sheyanne, Samuel and Elizabeth; and eight great-grandchildren, Marshall, Lilah, Isabelle, Violet, Clara, Serenity, Wyatt and Eris.
She will be dearly missed by her family and all of her outdoor fur and feather bearing friends.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at the Kimball Community Center.
A luncheon will be served following the service.
