Steven James Rydzinski, 49, a resident of Ironwood Township, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at his home.
He was born on Aug. 12, 1961, in Waukegan, Ill., the son of Edward and Sylvia (Hedberg) Rydzinski. Steven graduated from Maine Township High School West in Des Plaines, Ill., on June 4, 1980.
Steve was an avid fisherman, loved all animals (especially dogs) and was an excellent bowler.
He is survived by his mother, Sylvia, Ironwood Township; a brother, Geno, Owensboro, Ky.; a sister, Sue (David), Ramsay; two nieces and a nephew; two aunts and an uncle; and numerous cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Edward, on Dec. 11, 2002.
A private family service will be held.
Burial will take place in the spring at Sunset Acres Cemetery.
The family is being served by Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., Wakefield.
