Steven A. 'Muck' Marchello
BESSEMER, Mich. – Steven A. "Muck" Marchello, 54, of Bessemer, passed away Sunday afternoon, Oct. 2, 2011, at his home, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born on Dec. 13, 1956, in Wakefield, the son of John Joseph and Marjorie Katherine (Sopko) Marchello. Muck graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer with the class of 1975.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Muck is survived by a brother, John D. (Maria) Marchello, Chicago; two nieces, Stephanie (Jim) Raymond, Bessemer, and Jaime Marchello, Los Angeles; a nephew, Michael (Cheri) Marchello, Bessemer; an aunt, Lucy Benetti, Wausau, Wis., formerly of Bessemer; several great-nieces and great-nephews; many special caregivers and nurses; a host of dear friends; and his faithful companion, BJ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, "Mickey" Marchello; and an uncle, "Doc" Benetti.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
