WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Sharon Renee Serna, 73, a resident of Wakefield since 2005, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, Aug. 26, 2018, at her home.

Sharon was born on Dec. 6, 1944, in Fairbault, Minn., the daughter of John P. and Marion A. (Hedtke) Lindenfelser. She attended Fairbault High School and graduated in 1963.

On Jan. 5, 1965, Sharon was united in marriage to Ramon Andres Serna Sr., who was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy.

Sharon is survived by her beloved husband, Ramon Sr.; two sons, Ramon Jr. and Damon; a daughter, Maria (Quirin) Matthys; three cherished grandchildren, John, Cole and Isabel Matthys; a brother, Steven Lindenfelser (Kim Bettin); and a special niece, April (Adam) Spies.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Cremation will take place, and there will be no funeral service.
