WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Robert "Bob" Maki, 75, of Wakefield, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, at his residence.

Robert was born on June 21, 1948, in Wakefield, a son of Robert William "Bullo" and Agnes (Pucilowski) Maki. He attended A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer and graduated in 1966. Bob continued his education at Michigan State University.

He looked forward to going to his hunting camp, was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing and was a retired forester.

Bob is survived by a son, Chris, Marquette; two grandchildren, Benson and Braxton; a brother, Daniel (Deanna), Ironwood; a sister, Jean (Rod) Smith, Ironwood; several nieces and nephews; an aunt; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

At his request, cremation has taken place. No service is scheduled at this time.
