BESSEMER, Mich. – Robert H. Duchaine, 85, formerly of Bessemer, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021.

Bob was born on June 25, 1936, in Iron Mountain, a son of Henry and Agnes (Okerlund) Duchaine.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

On March 3, 1956, Bob was united in marriage to Priscilla "Pat" Boynton.

He was a lifetime lumberjack.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Pat; a son, Ted, of Nebraska; a daughter, Cheryl Thorpe, Rhinelander, Wisconsin; six grandsons; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donna and DeeDee, both of Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Anne; a granddaughter, Danica; two brothers, John and Clarence; and a stepbrother, Arnold.

Cremation will take place, and there will be no funeral service.
