WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Ramon "Ray" Massey, 63, of Wakefield, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019.

Ray was born on Oct. 13, 1955, in London, England, a son of Peter and Joyce (Crouch) Massey.

On Sept. 1, 2012, Ray married the love of his life, Kristi.

He was employed at various jobs throughout his life. His last employment was at Trueflight Feathers in Manitowish Waters, Wis.

Ray is survived by his wife, Kristi; two sons, Jordan and L.J. (fiancée Janel DeCarlo); two grandsons, Abel and Thomas; his mother, Joyce; four brothers, Jason, Desmon, Edmon and Damon; a sister, Karon; his father-in-law, Regan Hill; his brother-in-law, Regan Hill Jr. (Cheri); his sister-in-law, Melanie (Scott) Brady; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Leon; and his mother-in-law, Darlene M. Hill.

A celebration of Ray's life will be held at a later date.

His final English goodbye to everyone is "Ta-Ta."
