WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Paul Francis "Putt Putt" Morrison, 59, of Wakefield, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, at the Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield.

Paul was born on Aug. 15, 1964, in Wakefield, a son of Francis J. "Chummy" and Verna I. (Kinnunen) Morrison. He graduated from Wakefield High School.

Paul loved watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers, looked forward to going to camp with his friends, and was a skilled mechanic.

He absolutely adored his son, Payton, and was an exceptional brother.

Paul will always be remembered as one who was always there to give a helping hand, not expecting anything in return.

In addition to Payton, he is survived by two sisters, Nancy Morrison, Memphis, Tennessee, and Tina Morrison, Wakefield; a brother, Tim Morrison, Ironwood; two nieces, Christi Morrison and Jennifer Morrison Williams (John), both of Wichita, Kansas; and a very special cousin, Sandy Morrison, Wakefield.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.
