WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Paul Robert Bennett, 87, of Wakefield, passed away unexpectedly late Thursday evening, Oct. 11, 2018.

Paul was born on July 14, 1931, in Romeo, a son of Kermitt C. and Geneva L. (Cook) Bennett.

For many years, he was a truck driver.

Paul enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. He absolutely loved spending time with his family and friends.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of more than 24 years, Susan; seven children; numerous cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters; a half brother; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; a brother; a sister; and a half brother.

The family is honoring Paul's life in a private funeral service.
