IRONWOOD, Mich. - Patricia M. "Patty" Eliason, 72, of Ironwood, passed away unexpectedly at her daughter and son-in-law's home in Bessemer, on Monday, Aug. 12, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Patty was born on Aug. 15, 1951, in Bessemer Township, to Robert and Dorothy O'Leary.

Patty worked at Jacquart Fabric Products in Ironwood for 30 years. She retired in October 2023. Patty also bartended at the Norrie Club in Ironwood, where she was a proud lifetime member. Patty was a great bartender and her customers adored her.

She enjoyed listening to upbeat music that she could dance to, working on crafts, sewing, fishing, camping, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, playing games and cooking for her family.

Patty will be remembered for her loving heart and her amazing sense of humor. Her family meant the world to her, and she will be forever missed.

Her memory will be cherished by longtime partner, Dave Kivi; three children, Kari Eliason, Sault Ste. Marie, Ron (Courtney) Eliason, Ironwood, and Jennifer (Jeremy) Borlek, Bessemer; two sisters, Kathy Kutz and Jackie Mack; 12 treasured grandchildren, Matthew, Nikki, Alyssa, Kyle, Connor, Kaylee, Kaytlin, Haylee, Declan, Catlynn, Abby and Ayden; a special niece, Brenda; a special nephew, Jimmy; her adored dogs, Lilly and Bella; and many cherished cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Dennis; her husband, Ray; and her beloved fur babies, Harley, Misty, Grizzly, Lucy and Penny.

Per Patty's wishes, cremation will take place and no formal service will be held.

A private ceremony celebrating her life will be held at a later date.

"It is not forever, it is not the end. It simply means that we will see you again."
