WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Michael James Richardson, 56, of Wakefield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 26, 2023.

Michael was born on Oct. 10, 1966, at the Grand View Hospital in Ironwood, to Joan Annala and Roger Richardson. He was raised by Joan and Thomas Dahl. Mike graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood, in 1988.

Mike served in the Army National Guard. He had numerous jobs varying from helping with horses, semi-driver, sawyer and mechanic. He was employed by Dalbeck Logging LLC as a logging truck driver until the time of his death.

In Mike's free time, he loved to ride his motorcycle with his riding buddies, fishing especially with his daughter, Tiffany, and granddaughter, Laura Lynn, and spending time with his family and close friends he considered his family.

Mike is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Zwick; granddaughter, Laura Lynn; two stepdaughters, Jennifer and Sarah, along with their children; a brother, Eric; a sister, Toini (Randy); two uncles, James and Warren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Mike's request, there will be no funeral service, cremation has taken place.

Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield, is assisting the family with arrangements.
