ROLLA, Mo. – Michael Lee Lillie, of Rolla, 78, passed away Monday, Feb. 26, 2018.

Michael was born on Aug. 22, 1939, in Marenisco, Mich., a son of Edward and Evelyn (Lund) Lillie.

He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Uerling.

Michael was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, who served his country for 27 years.

He was an avid outdoorsman and loved tinkering with cars.

Michael will be greatly missed by his surviving family. His five sons, Michael Joseph (Tina), Eau Claire, Wis., David L. (Tracy), Williamsburg, Pa., and Christopher J., Jonathan R. (companion, Katie Weinberg) and Joseph R. (Crystal), all of Rolla; a daughter, Patrice M. Jackson, Mililani Town, Hawaii; a sister, Geraldine Conley, Mercer, Wis.; five cherished grandchildren; nine dear great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by her parents; his beloved wife, Barbara, on Jan. 7, 2017; three brothers; and five sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 6, at 2 p.m., preceded by memorial visitation at 1:30 p.m., at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Marenisco, with the Rev. Robb Jurkovich, celebrant.

Rite of Committal and interment for Michael and his wife, Barbara, will follow at Marenisco Cemetery, with military rites for Michael.

Jerald Rocco of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield, Mich., is assisting the family with arrangements.
