IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Michael Richard Karliner, a resident of Ironwood Township, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the age of 63, after a brief illness.

Michael was born on Jan. 5, 1962, in Hinsdale, Illinois, to Elsbeth and Rudolf Karliner.

A friend to all he encountered, Michael always had a warm smile and a helping spirit.

He is survived by his brother, several nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

The family has honored his life privately.

Jerald Rocco, owner and manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc, in Wakefield assisted the family with arrangements.
