WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Family and friends are invited to attend the graveside service for Melvin E. Ellison, to be held Friday, June 27, at 2 p.m., at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.

He passed away on May 22, 2023, at Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield.

Melvin is survived by his wife, Gail, Wakefield; a daughter, Eliina (Dr. JaDon) Whitfield and their daughters, Jalynn and Jadiina, all of Alabama; a son, Kyle Ellison, Wakefield; and a grandson, Christopher (Ashley) Piehl, of Alabama.

Jerald Rocco, owner and manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield, is assisting the family with arrangements.
