BOCA RATON, Fla. – Matilda (Soffiette) McClure, 97, of Boca Raton, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014, peacefully in her sleep.
Matilda was born on Aug. 31, 1916, in Anvil, Mich., a daughter of Victor and Cilia (Brolio) Soffiette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles John McClure, on Nov. 14, 2000.
Matilda is survived by a son, Richard Earl, Boca Raton; a sister, Rose Chada, Sun City, Ariz.; numerous nieces and nephews, including her favorite nephew, Roger (Joann) Langa, Bessemer, Mich., and their children, Scott (Tina), Wakefield, Mich., and Pam, Bessemer.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 25, at 1 p.m., in Hillcrest Cemetery, Bessemer, with the Rev. Antony Lukka officiating.
Rite of Committal and interment will follow.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lakeside Memorial Chapel, Wakefield, Jerald Rocco, manager. Condolences may be expressed online at lakesidememorialchapel.com.
