Obituary

BESSEMER, Mich. - Marilyn Louise Wroblewski, 82, of Bessemer, gained her angel wings on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, in Kronenwetter, Wisconsin. She passed peacefully with her daughters by her side.

Marilyn's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her, understand the imprint she left on our hearts exceeds the quantity of time that she stayed here. Marilyn and Joe were married on May 4, 1963, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Bessemer. They lived in Kenosha, White Pine and Bessemer. Most of their lives were lived in Bessemer. She and Joe were blessed with four beautiful children. Most of Marilyn's time was spent taking care of her family. Not a day went by where she didn't talk about how much she loved her family and how much they meant to her. Marilyn's family was arguably her most important achievement in life. Marilyn and Joe spent their 60 years creating precious memories which included family vacations, camping, skiing, snowmobiling, playing games and just having their entire family together throughout the year and during the holidays.

Marilyn worked at Michigan Bell Telephone Company, Blackjack Ski Hill, Porcupine Mountain Ski Hill, Powderhorn Ski Hill and the Ben Franklin Store.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Joe, and her dog, Cody; her children, Rodney (Salli) Wroblewski, Danielle (Dave) Tiberg, Brian (Melissa) Wroblewski and Lynn (Denny) Pritzl; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Bruce (Holly) Richardson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Olga Richardson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 21, at noon, preceded by visitation at 11 a.m., at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 210 E. Iron St., in Bessemer, with the Rev. Dominic Agyapong, celebrant. A luncheon will follow at the church.

Jerald Rocco, owner and manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield, is assisting the family with arrangements. To send online condolences or to share a memory, please go to lakesidememorialchapel.com.
