(Minier) Johnson

IRONWOOD, Mich. – Lydia Ann (Minier) Johnson, age 86, of Ironwood, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, at Westgate Nursing, Rehabilitation and Assisted Living Community in Ironwood.
Lydia was born on May 2, 1939, in Wakefield, a daughter of Jerome and Nettie Minier. She attended Wakefield High School and graduated in 1958.
Lydia married the love of her life, John Johnson. He preceded her in death in 2007.
She was employed by Simpson Electronics in Mercer, Wisconsin, for 27 years.
Lydia took pleasure in baking dozens of cookies for everyone at Christmas time.
She is survived by two brothers and eight sisters; many nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Aug. 15, at 12:30 p.m., at Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood. The Rev. Nicole Hanson-Lynn, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Ironwood, will officiate.
