HURLEY, Wis. – Lisa M. Rhenlund, 63, of 412 2nd Ave. N., Hurley, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff, surrounded by her loving family.
Lisa attended school in Ironwood, Michigan, and went on to college to pursue graphic arts. She worked as a certified nurse's aide and also in the food and beverage industry for most of her life. Lisa was an amazing mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a friend to many with a heart of gold. Lisa loved photography and being outdoors with nature. She loved her dog, Cooper, and her cat, Henry.
Lisa is survived by her son, Ian Rhenlund, whom she loved more than anything; her mother, Sharon (Brian) Laabs, Ironwood; her sister, Sheryl (Larry) Rosga, Aurora, Minnesota; her brothers, Ron (Stephanie) Rhenlund, Kimball, Mark (Missy) Rhenlund and Brian Rhenlund, both of Ironwood; and her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ron Rhenlund Sr.; her sister, Sarah Rhenlund; her son, Joshua Wesa; her daughter, Sandra Wesa; her maternal grandparents, Isaac and Mary Hautamaki; her paternal grandparents, Arvid and Helen Rhenlund; and numerous aunts and uncles.
A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at a later date.

These angels on earth treated Lisa with the utmost love, respect and dignity that she deserved while battling her cancer.
