WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Lillian Shirley Yatczak, 77, of 712 Hancock St., Wakefield, passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 1, 2010.
She was born on July 13, 1933, in Park Falls, Wis., daughter of the late Thomas and Emily (Miller) Albiniak. Lillian attended Bessemer schools.
In August 1952, she married Edward V. Yatczak at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Bessemer. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1996.
Lillian was a nurse's aid at the Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield.
Surviving are four children, David, Sissy, Jayne and Robert; and three grandchildren, Anthony, Michael and Cameron.
Besides her parents and husband, Lillian was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and John Thomas Albiniak, in infancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wakefield, with the Rev. Joy J. Adimakkeel officiating.
Her final resting place will be next to her husband in Lakeside Cemetery.
