BRUCE CROSSING, Mich. – Kenneth Francis Lannet, 57, a lifelong resident of Bruce Crossing, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at his home of natural causes.
Kenny was born on Oct. 21, 1957, in Wakefield, a son of Einar George and Elsie Irene (Pokela) Lannet. He attended Ewen High School and graduated in 1976.
Kenny worked for 20 years at Wood Development Corp. in Sidnaw. He currently was employed by Settler's Co-Op Inc. in Bruce Crossing in the mill department.
Kenny was a very well respected man in the community and always enjoyed helping others. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Kenny is survived by seven siblings, Edward (Linda) Lannet, Judith Lannet, Ernie (Lisa) Lannet, Clara Lannet, John (Gail) Lannet, Doris (Herb) Dallas and Kay (Dennis) Mayotte; an aunt and two uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert Lannet.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
