IRONWOOD, Mich. – Julie A. Goetz, 89, of Ironwood, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at Westgate Nursing, Rehabilitation and Assisted Living Community in Ironwood.

Julie was born on Dec. 19, 1935, in Wakefield, to Vincent and Antoinette (Boscia) Agriesti.

Julie graduated from Wakefield High School and cosmetology school in Detroit. She was the owner of Julie's Headquarters in Ironwood until her retirement.

Julie is survived by two daughters, Lizabeth (Edwin) Peters and Danette Muncy, both of Ironwood; a son, Robert V. Goetz, Reno, Nevada; five grandchildren, Rebecca Randall, Ironwood, Sarah Randall, Bessemer, Michael (Amy) Randall, Hurley, Wisconsin, Kristina (John) Wright, Iron Belt, Wisconsin, and Luna Goetz, Reno; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert C. Goetz; a brother, Godfrey (Shirley) Agriesti, Marquette; and a sister, Emma (James) Wilson, Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.
