MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Jodie Lanore Cassia, 32, of Wakefield, Mich., passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, in Milwaukee.
She was born on Aug. 6, 1980, in Kinder, La.
Jodie loved fishing. One of her special places to fish was Lilly Lake, so when her daughter was born, she named her Lilly after that lake.
Jodie will always be remembered for her beautiful eyes and smile. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten by her family and friends.
Jodie leaves behind three children, Lillian Brunette, David Cassia and Danielle Cassia; her mother and stepfather, Judy and David Johnson, Wakefield; her father, Thomas (Geraldine) Cassia, Iowa, La.; and two sisters, Donna Berryhill and Kassi Johnson, both of Ironwood, Mich.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Bethany, who was always there when Jodie needed her.
