IRONWOOD, Mich. – Joan Marie Cobleigh, 90, of Ironwood, formerly of Chicago, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015.
Joan was born on Sept. 30, 1924, in Chicago, the daughter of Clarence Henry and Josephine Ellen (Flanagan) Allie. She attended St. Bernard Grammar School and graduated from Loretto High School.
While living in Chicago, Joan owned and operated CJ Gifts, a Catholic gift and flower shop. She was a member of St. Sebina Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary to both the VFW and American Legion.
Joan is survived by several caring and loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Meredith LaVern Cobleigh; and a brother, Clarence Joseph Allie.
At Joan's request, there will be no funeral service.
Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Ill.
