HURLEY , Wis. – Jeffrey D. Bertagnoli, 67, of Hurley, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jeffrey was born on March 26, 1956, in Ironwood, the son of James J. and Beatrice B. (Johnson) Bertagnoli. He attended Hurley schools.

Jeffrey proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He is survived by a son, Troy D., Superior, Wisconsin; a sister, Debbie Picon, Ironwood; numerous cousins; and his faithful four-legged companion, Eli Birdie.

Debbie would like to thank Rick Gerovac, Zeke, Jim Kolesar, Bernie Finco, Hairball, Dan Walowinski and Nicole Smith for supporting Jeff during this trying time.
