HURLEY, Wis. - Jeffrey Allen Aspinwall Sr., 66, of Hurley, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

Jeff was born on Feb. 25, 1960, at Grand View Hospital in Ironwood, Michigan, and was raised in Bessemer, Michigan. He attended A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer and graduated in 1979.

Jeff attended college, but worked at White Pine Copper Refinery until its closure as a crane operator.

Jeff was known by many and will be missed by all. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Jeff loved his Green Bay Packers, playing darts and later baking, especially some of his mother's favorite recipes.

Jeff is survived by his beloved grandchildren, Carsen, Harper and Paige Ikola, and Jamison and Camden Aspinwall. He loved chasing, playing and laughing with them all.

He is also survived by his son, Jeff Jr. (Cali) Aspinwall; two daughters, Jenelle Aspinwall (Peter Koruga) and Danielle (Roger) Ikola; four brothers, Jerry (Sherry) Aspinwall, Johnny (Connie) Aspinwall, David (Barbara) Aspinwall and Jimmy Aspinwall; two sisters, Dee-Dee (Punky) Laabs and Joyce (Chuck) Tirpe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is now with his father and mother, James and Della Aspinwall; a brother, Donald; and two sisters, Darlene and Jeanie.

Jeff may have left us too soon, but he will forever be in our hearts and memories.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
