BESSEMER, Mich. – Hertha Westphal, 97, of Bessemer, formerly of St. Francis, Wis., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014.
Hertha was born on Oct. 24, 1917, in Germany, the daughter of August and Helen (Thiel) Serfort.
On June 4, 1938, she was united in marriage to Willi Westphal in Milwaukee.
Loving Mother to Caroline (Mike) Totka, St. Francis; Cherished Oma to Debra (Paul) Janczak, Bessemer, and Christine Narloch, Milwaukee; Great-Oma to Samantha, Tabatha, Megan, Jared and Hannah; Great-Great-Oma to Jasmine, Niamiah and Jerimiah; Dear Sister of Alfred and Gary Serfort; and Aunt to several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Willi, on March 17, 1983.
In keeping with Hertha's wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service is scheduled.
