MARENISCO, Mich. – Hamako Eberly, 89, of Marenisco, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020.

Hamako was born on Nov. 15, 1930, in Gunma Ken, Japan, the daughter of Kinshio and Mika Sakamoto.

On July 5, 1955, Hamako was united in marriage to Theodore Eberly in Tokyo, Japan.

She and her husband owned and operated a bait shop in Land O' Lakes, Wisconsin.

Hamako is survived by loving friends, George and Peggy Loop, and Mike Tice and Janette Yakobics, all of Marenisco; and her lifelong friend, Yasie (Fred) Hamann, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
