HURLEY, Wis. - Gloria (Finco) Siirila, 88, of Hurley, formerly of Ironwood, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Gloria married Arnold Siirila of Gile, Wisconsin, in 1956.

They raised four children: Bonnie, Dan, Roy and Mary. Gloria was involved in many organizations, MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) after her son, Roy, died at age 23 by a drunk driver while serving in the U.S. Navy in California. She was also involved with Weight Watchers, Victims Services, Ducks Unlimited and so many more. She retired as the secretary at the Newport School after more than 25 years. Her friends were from all over the world, from Maui, California, Colorado, Wyoming, Las Vegas, India, the Middle East and more. Gloria was not a stranger to anyone, her infectious smile and pure kindness made everyone feel her love. Our mother, grandmother, wife, friend, Bingo partner, swimming friend and just her presence will be missed. She will remain in our hearts.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie/Dennis Havlik, grandson, Cavan/Sabrina Havlik, great-grandson, Caden, granddaughter, Jessica/Bryan Redniss great-grandchildren, Tobi and Ronin, granddaughter, Kendra/Matt O'Donnell, great-grandson, Arlo; son, Dan/Julie Siirila, granddaughter, Dayle/Dave Bugalski, great-grandchildren, Owen and Gavin, granddaughter, Miquel/Barry Lewis, granddaughter, Callie Siirila/Jameson; and daughter, Mary/Gerard Trcka, granddaughters, Abbey and Maria.

A celebration of life took place on Saturday, March 29, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hurley. Visitation began at 9 a.m., and the service was at 10.
