WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Gerald E. Niemi, 76, of Wakefield, passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at his home, with his family by his side.

Gerald was born on April 8, 1944.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Eleanor Niemi.

On Oct. 13, 1979, he married Kathleen A. Lampart. She survives.

Gerald is further survived by his three children, Eric (Maggie) Niemi, Sarah Piehl and Amanda (Matt) Radocy; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives.

A celebration of Gerald's life will be held in the spring.
