WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Evelyn M. Malovrh, 93, a longtime resident of Wakefield, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, in Wakefield, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Jan. 23, 1919, in Gordon, Wis., the daughter of William and Etta (Knox) Rabideau.
On March 16, 1945, Evelyn married Joseph Malovrh in Bessemer.
She was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Wakefield and had worked in several resorts in Wisconsin.
Evelyn is survived by three sons, Joseph, Anchorage, Alaska, and Jack (Pat) and Jerry (Suzanne), both of Wakefield; a daughter, Patricia (Raymond) Minier, Fernwood, Idaho; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Rabideau, Ironwood, and Joann Rabideau, Greensburg, Ind.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph, on Aug. 26, 2006; a son, James, on Dec. 20, 1970; three brothers, Charles, John "Wally," and William Rabideau; and a sister, Margaret Maki.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery at a later date.
