IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Elsbeth Elisabeth Karliner, 82, a resident of Ironwood Township, passed away Saturday morning, June 26, 2021.

Elsbeth was born on March 22, 1939, in Düsseldorf, Germany, a daughter of Franz and Minna (Scheffler) Hölscher.

Elsbeth is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Rudolf; three children, Monika, Michael and Mark; several grandchildren; a sister, Erika; a brother, Klaus; and several nieces and nephews.

The family is honoring her life in a private funeral service. The Rev. Doug Norquist, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ironwood, will officiate.

Interment will take place at Sunset Acres Cemetery in Ironwood Township.

Jerald Rocco, owner and manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield, Michigan, is assisting the family with their arrangements.
