Elizabeth Anne Little

BESSEMER, Mich. – Elizabeth Anne (nee Jurakovich) Little, 62, of Bessemer, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Elizabeth was born on Sept. 8, 1959, in Wakefield, the daughter of Mathew and Rose (Petroff) Jurakovich. She attended A.D. Johnston High School and graduated in 1977. Liz continued her education at Gogebic Community College and received her education degree from Michigan Technological University.

For many years, she was a substitute teacher throughout Gogebic County.

Liz always had a smile on her face and always had a good come back.

Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Rose; many cousins; very dear friends, James Favero and Richard Favero; and her faithful companion, Mia.

She was predeceased by her father, Mathew; two brothers, Gary and Michael Jurakovich; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and aunts, uncles and cousins from both sides.

We would like to especially thank Jim Favero for all that he did for Liz and continues to do for Rose to this day. He is a guardian angel.

At the family's request, cremation will take place and no funeral service will be held.

Jerald Rocco, owner and manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield, is assisting the family with arrangements.
