Donna J. Danielson's Obituary
WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Donna J. Danielson, 78, a long-time resident of Wakefield, passed away late Friday evening, Feb. 19, 2016.
Donna was born on May 5, 1937, in Chippewa Falls, Wis., a daughter of Bert and Dorothy (Booker) Tupper. She graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer.
On Aug. 23, 1958, Donna was united in marriage to Glen R. Danielson at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Ironwood.
Her hobbies included handy crafts, ceramics and gardening.
Donna is survived by five children, Russell, Kenneth, Mark, Paula and Dean; four grandchildren, John Harder, Jeremy Danielson, and Stacey and Darius Wherley; a brother, Thomas Tupper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen, on Oct. 30, 2008; a brother, Duane Tupper; and a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Anne and Alfred A. Facchinello.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at the Wakefield United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ted Trudgeon officiating.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Wherley, Darius Wherley, Mark Danielson, Kenneth Danielson, Dean Danielson and Jeremy Danielson.
Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Bessemer, in the spring.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jerald Rocco, owner-manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield. Condolences may be expressed online at lakesidememorialchapel.com.
