Debra Lee Jones
WAKEFIELD, Mich. — Debra Lee (nee Dalbeck) Jones, 49, of Wakefield, passed away unexpectedly on
March 1, 2023.
Debbie was born, Nov. 16, 1973, at Divine Infant Hospital in Wakefield, a daughter of Dalbert and Sandra
(Emig) Dalbeck. She graduated from Wakefield High School with the class of 1991.
On Feb. 23, 1998, Debbie was united in marriage to her best friend, Donald W. Jones.
Debbie was caring and compassionate, and loved her family and friends. She loved nature and the beauty
of it, and enjoyed camping with family and friends. She was a person who would fight for what she
believed in and would go out of her way to try to help anyone who wanted her help.
She was employed by Big Moose Home Inspections of Bessemer as the environmental services
coordinator. She loved her job.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law, Paul Cahee; and brother-in-law, Scott Jones.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don; their children, Alex Jones, Cameron Jones, Danny Jones and
Brittany Jones; five grandchildren, Karson, Sophia, Scarlett, Gracie and Camdon; her mother-in-law,
Linda Cahee; her brothers and sister, Gary Dalbeck, Suzanne (Jerry) Malovrh and William Dalbeck;
brother-in-law, James (Nicole) Jones; aunts, Christine Waurio and Mary (Mike) Wendell; and numerous
nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Debbie's life will be held on Friday, March 10, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10
a.m., at All Saints Lutheran Church, 1202 Putnam St., in Wakefield, with the Rev. Lauri Maki officiating.
Luncheon will be served at the fellowship hall following the service. A committal and interment will take
place at a later date.
Jerald Rocco, owner and manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield, is assisting the family
with arrangements.
