Darlene Marie Brownell's Obituary
Darlene Marie Brownell, 61, a longtime resident of Wakefield, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minn.
She was born on June 29, 1950, in Marquette, the daughter of Eugene and Mary (Ellersick) Pleaugh.
Darlene is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Jerry; four children, Keith (Suzette) Brownell, Shannan (Nick) Longsdorf, Cindy (Chris) Rath and Carrie (Mike) Brownell-Schwab; nine grandchildren, Korina, Taylor, Jerry, Cody, Ethan G., Ethan, Cameron, Darion and Caela; other loving relatives; and their adopted family from Lake Gogebic.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, Dec. 19, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Wakefield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9084.
Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., Wakefield, is assisting the family.
