BESSEMER, Mich. – Curtis "Snuffy" Nyman, 68, a lifelong resident of Bessemer, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 14, 2019.

Curtis was born on April 27, 1951, in Bessemer Township, a son of Hilmer Carl and Vivian Olga (Hendrickson) Nyman. He attended A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer and graduated in 1971.

On June 24, 1972, Curtis married Patricia Lynn Kujanson at Sharon Lutheran Church in Bessemer.

He was employed at Bessemer Plywood Corporation for 24 years.

Curtis is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; two brothers, Bruce, Green Bay, Wis., and Alan, Alexandria, Minn.; his brother-in-law, Richard Schmidt, Mercer, Wis.; two aunts, Gladys and Donna; and numerous dear nieces, nephew and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents; and two sisters, Sandy Hockert and Sharon Schmidt.

Cremation will take place and no services will be held.
