Charles Hinseth

IRONWOOD, Mich. – Charles Hinseth, 69, a long-time resident of Ironwood, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

He was born on June 20, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, a son of Howard M. and Beverly J. (Fox) Hinseth.

Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

For many years, he helped his parents manage the Ironwood Motel on US 2 in Ironwood.

Charles is survived by his mother, Beverly; a sister, Lorraine; a brother, Douglas; and other loving relatives.

He was predeceased by his father, Howard, on April 10, 2025.

Cremation has taken place.

The family is honoring his life in a private service.

Full military honors and interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
