IRONWOOD, Mich. – Carole Semenak, 81, of Ironwood, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2018.

She was born on June 22, 1937, in Montreal, Wis., a daughter of Joseph and Florence (Gearreau) Trombi.

Carole was united in marriage to Ronald Semenak in 1959. They were blessed with three children.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her sisters. One of her favorite pastimes was playing cards.

Carole is survived by a son, Raymond (Tonya), Mesa, Ariz.; her siblings, Robert Trombi, Janice Berglund and Diane "Bunny" Maffesanti; many dear nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents; her beloved husband, Ronald, in January 1981; a son, Ronald Jr.; a daughter, Nancy Ann; her siblings, Nancy, Pauline, Donna, Judy, Debbie and Richard; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Loretta Semenak.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 24, from 10 to 11 a.m., in the St. Joseph Family Room at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 108 S. Marquette St., in Ironwood. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Robb Jurkovich, celebrant.

Rite of Committal and interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood, in the spring.
