Bruno E. Pelissero, 79, of Bessemer, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at Marquette General Hospital, after a brief illness.

He was employed at the Bessemer Food Shop until he was drafted during the Korean War. Bruno proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for two years.
Upon returning from military service, he worked for Bacco Construction and then at White Pine Copper Mine for 26 years.
Bruno was a caring and loving person, who donated a kidney to his brother, John 28 years ago.

His memberships included St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Bessemer, the Bessemer Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3673 and the Bessemer American Legion Post 11, where he was a former member of Marty's Goldenaires.
