KIMBALL, Wis. — Bruce Tomczyk, 85, of Kimball, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Berniece.

Bruce served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from the U.S. Army reserve as a sergeant first class.

He also was employed at White Pine Copper in quality control for 40 years.

Bruce also is survived by his children, son Michael (Jodi) Tomczyk, Antigo, and daughter Pamela (Kirk) Backman, Kimball; grandchildren, Riley, Michaela and Garrett Tomczyk, Brittany (Jeff) Hunt and MacKenzie Backman; great-grandchildren, Brody, Harper, Jennifer and Cooper Hunt; a brother, Kim (Marge) Tomczyk; a sister, Corrine Krakovec; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Irene Tomczyk; a sister, Cheryl Tomfczyk; and brother-in-law, Martin Krakovec.

Per Bruce's wishes, there will be no service.
