IRONWOOD, Mich. – Beth Ann Turonie, 65, of Ironwood, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026.

Beth was born on June 13, 1960, in Wakefield, a daughter of George Frederick and Jean Ann (Sereno) Broemer. She grew up in Bessemer and graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in 1978. Beth continued her education at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, earning her certified medical assistant credentials.

Beth worked mostly in the medical field which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her last place of employment was as a residential training specialist at the Ayer Street Group Home in Ironwood. She loved the residents, and they in return loved her. She will be greatly missed by all.

Beth is survived by a son, Richard Turonie; her long-time boyfriend, Ken Kivi; four sisters, Brenda Lampart, Denise (Randy) Miller, Pamela Ferron and Lou Ann (David) Howser; two brothers, Randy (Lynn) Broemer and Fred Broemer; many dear nieces, nephews and cousins; and her fur pup, Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Taylor Samuel Lampart, on Jan. 24, 2010.

The family extends a heartfelt and sincere thank you to the staff at Aspirus St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota, for their wonderful and loving care provided to Beth. A special thank you to Ginger for being there for all of us; you are truly a godsend.

Out of respect for Beth's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
