Barbara June Myers' Obituary
WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Barbara June Myers, 69, of Wakefield, passed on Saturday, March 1, 2014.
Barbara was born on June 29, 1944, in Chicago, the daughter of Bernard E. and Ruth E.J. (Denton) Myers.
She was employed by Super One Foods in Ironwood.
Barbara is survived by four children, Loreen Zaporowski, Leonard (Michelle) Zaporowski, John Zaporowski and Catherine (Michael) Rodgers; three grandchildren, Eleanor Zaporowski, Michael Rodgers and Eve Rodgers; two sisters, Dorothy Bates and Patricia Myers; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bernard Myers; and her brother-in-law, Richard Bates.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 8, at 12:15 p.m., preceded by visitation at 11:15 a.m., at Lakeside Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Antony Lukka, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, will officiate.
Rite of Committal and interment will take place in Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield, in the spring.
